THE famous artist stood for disabled people to be given a chance to display their talents. This all happened at Articulate Book and Art Fair held in Rivertown Beerhall, Durban.
The Artist, Musa Zulu in his address, said “since 1995 I have been in the wheelchair and gave extra courage to do everything by myself and I am pleading the government to give the disable a platform because we add value in the society”.
EThekwini Municipality Head of Arts and Culture, Thembinkosi Ngcobo speaking in the event said “as the department the will is to give equal opportunities to every upcoming artists to show their talent and help them to see their potential through art, it could be music or poetry”. He also emphasised that people must stay away from drugs because they end up destroying their talent.
